Update on Maxie

After a restless night sleep (Maxie could not get comfortable, nor could I), I took Maxie to the vet this morning and she has a sprained shoulder. The vet thinks she slid and stretched her shoulder too far and in a weird way. Anyway, he described it as being like a sprained ankle, but in the shoulder.

He gave her a shot of an anti-inflammatory and some other anti-inflammatory medicine. She seemed to feel better immediately and by the time we got home, she was walking normally. I am to limit her walking and jumping (that is going to be really hard) for the next week.

I had to leave for the office, so I am hoping all is well by the time I get home!
