But, now, as I sit here on my couch and listening to the packers wrap up my dishes, I am very happy that all I needed to do was organize and throw out!
It is a beautiful day here in Brussels, just like the day I moved in 2 years ago. I remember the sun shining and the temps in the 70s for about 24 days straight (a record for Belgium). Two years later, the sun is out again, although much cooler at 46* currently....we even had snow last night!
I am experiencing mixed emotions, but I cannot wait to get home!
I just realized that I have not posted pictures of my house in a while. It looks like I will be closing at the end of next week! Yippie! My household goods should be arriving in a few weeks!!!

Ohh I miss seeing pictues of Maxie. Surely you must be missing her tons! Must be bittersweet for sure. It has to help that you have so much excitement and newness to be coming back to!!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the one thing missing from the beautiful house pictures... YOU!
Amazing!!! I can't believe it's time for you to come home already... but I am SO glad you have a gorgeous house to come home to! I have to imagine it's going to be a weird transition, but so much easier when you have so much to be excited about.
ReplyDeleteYea You!!!! (and Maxie) :)
I can't believe it is time! I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to call you this weekend. It's been pretty hectic lately. I can't wait to see you! Your timing couldn't be better...things will settle down here (at least I think they will unless Sarah Kate comes early!) so we can spend some time together! Experience every emotion...don't hold back.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a safe flight home!
